The Early Career Ocean Science Network initiative provides a dynamic platform for young scientists in the Western Indian Ocean (WIO) region to share their research, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaboration in marine and ocean science.
Targeting early-career scientists aged 20–35, this initiative encourages participants to present their work, engage with peers, and contribute to regional knowledge exchange. By fostering collaboration and networking, the program aims to empower the next generation of ocean leaders and support innovative solutions for sustainable marine management in the WIO region.
